It wasn't too long ago that my Samsung U510 slider literally blew up on me, and after that I though to myself - what do I need, and why? The guy tried up-selling me (doing his job obviously) to a "Data Plan" for the latest BlackBerry that came out. Sure it sounded dandy and all, but what would I need this phone for?
Emailing? I have a laptop and a computer at home for that....
Instant Message? I get 200 texts a day, so really, by having IM, I would be talking constantly
It then occurred to me... I really don't NEED a data plan, because I don't have the money, or want, to surf the web 24/7
