So, the Samsung Instinct is coming out August 8th in Canada, and I was planning to get a Iphone, but my whole family has Bell and me too, so I tohught it would be easier to just get an Intsinct. Are they any good? And how much do they cost in Canada?

A: Its $200 buts that is only with a two year contract($150 off) and a $100 rebate.Otherwise it is 449.I dont know if you can get it if your already a sprnt customer for $200 though

A: nope you can't. i just got mine. the only way i found is by downloading the ringtone through my phone's internet. i use this site : ventones its amazing. i turn mp3 songs into ringtones with their online converter

I was wondering why the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries..Is it because it takes up so much power or just because?

A: Actually, they are saying the battery life is really good. They did it to take a stab at the iPhone, which only has one, and is not removable by consumers.

Q: Can you use Ventones to create ringtones to put on the Samsung Instinct?
I've heard a lot about Ventones lately and I was just wondering if it actually worked with the Samsung Instinct. I've heard that the phone does not support MP3 files at all and just by the the menu for the different ringers are located in the phone make it seem that Ventones won't work. Is this true? Or can I actually create my own ringtones off Ventones and then send them to my Samsung Instinct?

A: ventones does work for the instinct. I have an instinct and I used to have a Rumor. I use it all the time. And its the site that makes the ringtone come out the clearest and its very loud. Its free. I think what you are asking is if you can load the ringtone with a cable. you cant do that because sprint has taken that feature out. you need to download it from the text message they send.

Q: What would happen if you put a 16GB micro SD into the Samsung Instinct?
The Samsung Instinct claims that it only comes in a 8GB, but can you not just simply put a 16 GB micro SD in it?

I have a samsung instinct flashed to metropcs, this phone has allot of nice features but so far i can only call and text, I know how to get to the programmable data ##3282# but i don't know how to program this data for the multimedia and browser to work with metro pcs, i have taken my cellular to a few places where they flash it, but no one knows how to program data settings to work with metropcs can someone help me on this situation please?

A: I think it's the problem with the image of your album art.

Q: How do you download ringtones to a instinct samsung from a text send you from online sprint store?
I just got a new cell and its the samsung instinct now i am just trying to get the hang of it.But in my old phone i have some ringtones that i just bought, i went to my online content manager in my computer and send them to me as text messages.the problem is that i dont know where the option icon is.i click on the url address but once the phone goes online it says invalid address.some one help!
